Wrapping up summer 2026 with a quick evening visit to Coyote Point Recreation Area, a beautiful little escape by the Bay.

It’s a perfect place for a relaxed summer evening. You can take a short walk or roll along the trail while enjoying lovely views of the San Mateo Bridge, the Bay, and some local wildlife along the way.

The marina is quiet and peaceful, making it a wonderful spot to simply sit back and enjoy the breeze. But one of our favorite parts was watching the planes come in to land at SFO Airport. You could easily spend hours here, enjoying a few snacks while watching plane after plane glide across the sky.

And, as always, ♿️accessibility matters to us. Coyote Point is wheelchair accessible, and the trails we explored were wheelchair friendly as well, making it an easy and enjoyable outing for everyone.

Sometimes you don’t need a long trip or an elaborate plan, just a peaceful evening by the water, a beautiful view, and a few planes overhead to make a summer evening memorable.
